Goodreads Synopsis:
Juliette Ferrars thought she'd won. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner by her side. But she's still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch—and now she's got the whole world in the palm of her hand. When tragedy hits, who will she become? Will she be able to control the power she wields and use it for good?
My Review:
I wasn’t supposed to finish or even start Restore Me today (March 6, 2018) but I guess plans changed. I told myself I would only read a couple chapters which turned into a third of the book... which then turned into me finishing the book... Restore Me starts off only 16 days after the events of Ignite Me with everyone now adapting to their new lives and status. I loved seeing the gang back together though the book mainly focuses on Juliette, Warner, and Kenji. Most of the other characters were barley mentioned. We got more of Kenji in this book and I loved it! He was constantly making me smile and laugh! I love his character so much! He’s just so genuine and I enjoy that he will give it to you straight no matter what. Now on to Juliette. I didn’t have a huge problem with her in the first 3 books. I felt that she was dealing with herself, learning about herself, and was progressing. But I couldn’t take it in this book. For 80% of the book Juliette was a big baby. Don’t get me wrong I know she still has a lot of things she needs to deal with and still needs to grow but shes so naïve. She just doesn’t go looking for answers or even asks questions. She’s supposed to be supreme commander but really she’s just a girl that has taken way too much responsibility that she can’t handle. I get that the job is hard but you have many people and resources at your disposal use them! Now on to Warner, sweet, sweet, Warner. Even though I’m a little mad at him for bringing the turn of events onto himself, I can understand what he did or didn't do. His heart is just too big no matter what he thinks and I want to be apart of it! He goes through, and learns so much in this book regarding his life and The Reestablishment and other stuff (NO SPOILERS!). I loved learning more about him and what happens in this book TORE ME APART! MY HEART GUYS! MY HEART!!! I wish I prolonged the reading because now I have to wait a year for the next book!
